“What is the comparison of the Dunya?”
Al-Zamakhshari narrates :
قيل لحكيم : ما مثل الدنيا ؟ قال هي : أقل من أن يكون لها مثل
ENGLISH:
A wise man was asked: “What is the comparison of the Dunya?” He said: “It’s so minute that is lacks a comparison.”
NEDERLANDS:
Een hakeem (wijze man) werd gevraagd: “Wat is de gelijkenis van de Dunya?” Hij zei: “Het is zo nietig dat het geen gelijkenissen heeft!”
